Peaslee Neighborhood Center is a peaceful place in Over-The-Rhine
where residents create and engage in participatory education
to foster creative expression, self-determination, and social change.
As health care professionals and government officials urge social distancing to curb the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Peaslee is doing its part by closing our community building through April 6.
Although Peaslee is closed to the public, we are still working to help our neighbors who are experiencing hardship as a result of this crisis. We are working in partnership with the Cincinnati Interfaith Workers Center and the Freestore Foodbank to package groceries for individuals and families, to supplement meals being distributed to children at Rothenberg Preparatory Academy, our neighborhood school. We are focused on ensuring the safety and health of everyone involved with this essential food distribution.
Regarding our education and community programming, we are in communication with families about how we will be moving forward. In the meantime, please connect with us here on our website and/or on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. We wish health and emotional well-being for all of our community members during this time of uncertainty.
