These challenging times call on all of us to find new ways of surviving, connecting, growing, serving and organizing. Peaslee is adapting and learning new ways to be responsive, help keep our neighbors safe, and continue learning and growing.
• Piano students are practicing their skills with online resources and remote lessons from dedicated instructors.
• Young writers have been sent journals in the mail, and are continuing to write with inspiration from our poems and prompts. Some of their writing was published digitally to celebrate National Poetry Month.
• Agents of Change youth have been meeting remotely and celebrating birthdays, program graduations, and the end of their semester together.
• Peaslee and Cincinnati Interfaith Workers Center staff and volunteers have been working to safely pack and distribute food to families through partnerships with the Freestore Foodbank, Rothenberg Preparatory Academy, and Roberts Paideia Academy.
If you are able, please make a donation to help support this critical community work.
